Requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in invasive cardiology, cath lab, or critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS and specialty cardiology certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and the cardiac lab for procedures such as catheterizations and angioplasty.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, assist with interventions, and maintain sterile technique.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and cardiac health.
• Document care accurately and collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
