RN job in Cleveland OH

Active RN license (state-specific).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (correctional, ER, med-surg, or psych preferred).
BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Ability to work in a secure environment and respond effectively in emergencies.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments for inmates with acute, chronic, and emergent health needs.
Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and triage sick-call requests.
Coordinate and assist with provider visits, exams, and off-site appointments when needed.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide stabilization following established protocols.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, mental health).
Maintain secure handling of medical equipment, medications, and controlled substances.
Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with custody staff to ensure safety, compliance, and patient movement.
Educate patients on health maintenance and self-care.
