Key Responsibilities
- Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU units.
- Provide exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Quickly adapt to different unit workflows while ensuring clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- At least 18 months of experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing required (2 years preferred).
- Flexibility to cover shifts including 2 Mondays, 2 Fridays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
Training & Skills Development
- Training in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (Stroke Scale), IV Ultrasound.
- Cross-training to become a Charge Nurse, enhancing leadership skills.

Your Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering comprehensive patient care through nursing processes. This includes assessing patient needs, implementing individualized plans, and engaging with patients and their families. You will anticipate changes in patient conditions and work collaboratively within healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of care. Additionally, you will help create a safe and therapeutic environment by promoting effective communication and leading quality improvement initiatives.
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program is required.
