Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients. Ideal candidates will have experience in specialized care, including epilepsy monitoring for patients aged up to 25 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize inotropes and manage critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in Pediatric Intensive Care.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate is preferred.
