Part-Time Night ICU Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 2×12-hour from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend (EOW) is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Nurse to provide top-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be willing to float between different ICU units across multiple campuses as needed to maintain hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a typical patient ratio of 3:1.
• Ensure proper medication scanning practices.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage arterial and central lines.
• Assist with the management of BiPAP and CPAP treatments.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as required.
• Maintain isolation precautions and follow PPE protocols.
• Meet all time-off requests not exceeding 7 days.
• Arrive at the facility within 1 hour if placed on call.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years recent and consecutive experience in ICU within a hospital or acute care setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Knowledge of and experience with medication scanning systems are essential.
• Epic experience is preferred.
