Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse – Night Shift

Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Nurse will provide care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Nurses are expected to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response or code teams as necessary. Floating to different campuses may be required depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients on the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Utilize isolation precautions and maintain standards of care.
• Assist with non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Valid state nursing license (OH or compact) is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in telemetry required.
• Must be willing to float between campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as needed.
• Travel experience is required; first time travelers are not accepted.
