Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Schedule

Day shifts, 3×12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse will provide care in MS-Tele units across multiple campuses. A willingness to float to other campuses may be required to maintain hours if census drops.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage dysrhythmias and collaborate with rapid response/code teams.
• Administer and manage oxygen, including nasal cannulas and oxygen tanks.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary support and patient care initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Knowledge of medication scanning is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must be willing to float to all three campuses: Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion.
• Travel experience is required.
• Valid state nursing license; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Epic experience preferred.
