Day shift, 3×12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for circulating in the operating room and ensuring that the surgical team is prepared and that patients receive the highest standard of care. This position requires a minimum of 18 months of recent Operating Room experience prior to travel, along with a valid Ohio nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition tests and safeMedicate assessments and maintain satisfactory scores.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent OR experience prior to travel.
• Active Ohio nursing license required; compact licenses accepted for starts after January 1, 2023.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for submission.
• Current certifications needed; no pending actions.
• Must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
