Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional service to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor patient progress and respond effectively to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the PCU/Stepdown setting required.
• Must have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Completion and acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation are mandatory.
