Registered Nurse After Hours

Salary: $80-89k/yr B.O.E.

Schedule: Full-time| Sat/Sun/Mon | 11:00 AM-11:00 PM

Location: Dayton, Ohio (surrounding area)

Requirements of the Hospice RN role

• Licensed RN in state of practice
• A minimum of 1 year of Clinical experience
• Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage
• Reliable transportation, willingness to travel
• On-call/ triage experience preferred

About the RN role

• Provide on-call services after hours, and complete skilled visits including scheduled visits and emergent needs.
• Coordinate hospice care by working with other team members as well as with the patient's family members to ensure needs are met.
• Triage calls, coordinate services, and provides frequent updates on plan of care and any changes in condition.
• Assist reinforcement of patient and family education regarding end-of-life care.
• Participate in IDG and case conferences when needed
• Assume responsibility for personal and vocational growth and development through active participation in nursing organizations and participating in in-service programs and other on-the-job learning.
• Keep the RNCM informed of changes noted during the process.
• Participate in self-development by practicing further education, workshops, and conferences, active in professional and related organizational meetings, and individual research reading.
• Respond to on-call or medical emergencies (nights and weekends)
