• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; rotation may be required)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250–$2370

Required Qualifications — Telemetry RN / Registered Nurse

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (cardiac monitoring, telemetry unit)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification required
• One supervisory reference required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (ECG/arrhythmia interpretation skills important)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment

Key Responsibilities — Telemetry Nurse

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Perform ECG strip analysis and communicate critical findings to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record in a timely manner
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and post-discharge instructions
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and unit-specific protocols; participate in orientation and competency assessments
