Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,510 - $1,620 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical bedside experience in Med/Surg (2 years preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical support skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized care plans and identify patient and family teaching needs
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
• Participate in patient rehabilitation, discharge planning, and clinical support activities
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
• Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital policies and safety procedures
• Foster a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing jobs
