Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shifts: Day/Evening shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts between 06:30 – 23:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Hours: M-F 21:00-06:30; Sat/Sun 06:30-19:00 and 19:00-06:30
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Surgical Procedures Per Day: 45-50

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center and extensive scrub experience required
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license)
• BCLS certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Ability to float to different units as needed
• Two professional references (one from a manager/director or leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Preferred: Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care during surgical procedures: General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant
• Circulate and scrub, focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC
• Participate in scheduled call coverage
• Float to other units within the organization as needed
