The Clinical Support Nurse plays a critical role in supporting clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This position assists facility-based nursing teams in achieving excellence in resident care, regulatory compliance, and clinical outcomes. The Clinical Support Nurse collaborates with Directors of Nursing and facility leadership to provide education, oversight, and guidance in alignment with company standards and state/federal regulations.

This position requires a licensed Nurse with a strong clinical background, long-term care experience, and the flexibility to travel between facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Assist buildings and third-party users with clinical access issues in PCC.
  • Serve as a resource for resolving technical and workflow challenges related to clinical systems.
  • Clinical Process Expertise:
  • Apply strong clinical process knowledge to support accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with facility teams to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Data Management:
  • Assist with data setup and configuration in PCC.
  • Perform data cleanup to maintain accuracy and integrity of clinical records.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
  • Monitor clinical documentation for compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to facility teams to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Training & Support:
  • Educate staff on PCC functionality and clinical workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams and IT for system enhancements and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Experience:
  • Strong proficiency in PointClickCare (PCC) required.
  • Solid understanding of clinical processes and regulatory compliance in long-term care or healthcare settings.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.
