Role Description

TThe Procedural Care Unit sees an average of 55 cases daily, offering a fast-paced environment. PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs. Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more.

PCU is considered an outpatient/closed unit, there are no floating requirements.

Night shift holiday requirement per year: 2 Holiday shifts, 1 holiday on call

Weekend: One weekend every eight weeks required (Sat &Sun)

Scheduling: 8 week set/repeating schedule allowing you to know your schedule for a better work life balance.

ED, ICU, or cardiac/intermediate experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Skills in patient assessment, care planning, and administering medications and treatments
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving in clinical settings
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and attention to detail in documenting care
• Experience in a hospital or acute care clinical setting, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) highly recommended
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
