Pediatric K-5 School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Dublin, Ohio

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse excited to make a difference in a school setting for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to work closely with students ranging from early childhood and elementary (K5), through middle grades (68), and up to high school seniors (912). You will provide essential health services, both in a general school nursing capacity and through dedicated 1:1 pediatric care.

Key qualifications and experience required

• Valid and active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience within a school environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health needs
• Confidence in providing individualized nursing care for students with special medical considerations
• Understanding of health plans, medication administration, immunizations, and emergency response protocols in school settings
• Adaptability working across diverse age groups, with effective communication skills for engaging students, staff, and families
• Willingness to serve travel assignments (open to non-local candidates)

Primary responsibilities

• Support the well-being and safety of students from early childhood through high school
• Deliver health assessments, direct care, and emergency interventions as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor care plans for students with chronic conditions or special healthcare needs
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to foster an inclusive, healthy learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health regulations and policies
• Offer health education, counseling, and serve as a resource on illness prevention
