NICU Nurse (RN) | Elyria, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to serve in a specialized healthcare setting. This role involves delivering critical care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention, supporting families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of neonatal care.

Location: Elyria, OH

Schedule

• Rotation of days and nights or straight night shifts (1930-0800)
• Every other weekend or six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule
• Rotation cycles of two weeks or six weeks
• Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the intensive care unit
• Monitor and assess infants’ conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and administer treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate and support families on their infant’s health status and care procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with healthcare and safety protocols

Desired Experience / Qualifications

• Valid RN license with NICU specialization or pediatric nursing experience
• Proven experience in neonatal intensive care or related critical care environments
• Strong clinical and assessment skills tailored to neonatal patients
• Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
