RN Med Surg | Mason, Ohio

Provide skilled nursing care in a rehabilitation setting focused on patients with critical illnesses. This contract role involves comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, and active participation in multidisciplinary team conferences to ensure quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, identifying patient teaching needs, documenting interventions accurately, and initiating discharge planning from day one. You will provide education and support to patients and families, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and maintain safety standards in all activities. Supervisory duties over ancillary nursing personnel and participation in unit team-building efforts are also key components of this role.

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Medical-Surgical experience
• Competency in patient assessment, care planning, and nursing documentation
