Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients with severe cardiac issues, including electrolyte imbalances, dysrhythmias, and tachy-brady syndromes
• Monitor and manage patients with implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and Ventricular Assistive Devices (VAD)
• Provide expert care to patients before and after cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion using anti-dysrhythmic medication Tikosyn
• Support hospitalist services by assisting with broader medical-surgical patient care as needed
