ICU RN - Lakewood, Ohio

A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced registered nurses skilled in ICU care. This contract position is based in Lakewood, OH, specifically within a well-respected hospitals ICU unit.

Schedule/Hours

• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 18 months recent ICU experience required
• At least 18 months permanent experience in the ICU specialty prior to travel assignments
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or an active compact state license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered critical care in the ICU setting
• Monitor and assess patient health and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans
• Administer medications and perform complex clinical procedures with precision and safety
• Document patient information using Qualivis - Lotus system accurately and timely
