Intensive Care RN | Beachwood, Ohio

Provide expert nursing care in a critical care environment during night shifts at a leading medical center. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply specialized RN-ICU skills across multiple inpatient units including ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surgical areas, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units
• Manage patient assignments with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6 on general units and 1:2-3 in ICU
• Float across all inpatient areas within UH Tripoint Medical Center and UH Lake West Medical Center to meet staffing needs
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Current RN licensure with critical care certification preferred
• Proven experience in ICU nursing with ability to handle high-acuity patients
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments in multiple inpatient settings
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
