Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

A nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN to provide skilled care during night shifts at a well-regarded hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. This contract position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a focused schedule with consistent hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Flexibility to work at least every other holiday as required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Perform assessments and administer medications safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Complete required documentation and submit hours worked through designated systems
