Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) | Lorain, Ohio

Schedule/Hours

• 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
• Rotating day/night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
• Shift flexibility required to meet operational needs, with efforts made to accommodate preferences

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver competent nursing care in a med/surg telemetry environment
• Monitor patients cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months permanent experience in med/surg telemetry or related specialty
• Recent experience (18 months) in med/surg telemetry; travel nursing experience is acceptable
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday during assignment
