Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Massillon, Ohio

A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Med/Surg Telemetry experience on a night shift schedule. This position offers a contract role in the Massillon, OH area, providing valuable experience in a well-established healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours

• Night shift
• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience prior to travel
• Active permanent Ohio nursing license or an active Compact State nursing license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications

Responsibilities/Duties

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and cardiac telemetry continuously
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status changes promptly
