Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) | Medina, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry to support patient care on a rotating day and night schedule, primarily working 12-hour shifts. This contract position is based in Medina, OH, offering a chance to apply specialized nursing skills in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Current RN license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is required.
• Proven competency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety (assessments completed during orientation).
• Willingness to work every other holiday as scheduled.
• Experience with documentation systems like Qualivis - Lotus is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care specializing in medical-surgical telemetry.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to meet patient care goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete necessary certifications.
• Adapt to possible shift rotations to meet hospital operational needs.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
• Primary schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts weekly.
