OR Nurse (RN) | Akron, Ohio

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing care in the Operating Room with attention to patient safety and surgical team support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to maintain a sterile and efficient operating environment.
• Monitor and recognize ECG rhythms, ensuring patient safety during procedures.
• Comply with established protocols and complete required assessments during orientation.
• Maintain professional conduct during all shifts, including rotating holidays.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Operating Room experience required.
• Circulating nursing experience is essential.
• Must provide one recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is mandatory.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday per contract requirements.

Schedule

• Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM 11:00 PM).
