A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room procedures is sought for a contract assignment in Elyria, OH. This role involves working primarily in a seven-room inpatient/outpatient mixed operating unit with opportunities to support a larger main OR department when needed. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced surgical technology and the flexibility to adapt to various surgical settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in and circulate during surgical procedures, supporting a diverse range of cases including posterior eye surgeries and eye trauma.
• Proficiently operate the Da Vinci XI surgical system during robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain sterilization standards and ensure patient safety.
• Float between the smaller 7-room unit and a 26-room main operating room when required to meet staffing demands.
• Provide expert nursing care consistent with best practices and facility protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Active RN license with operating room nursing experience.
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating roles, particularly for posterior eye and trauma procedures.
• Experience with Da Vinci XI surgical robot is essential.
