OR Registered Nurse | Euclid, Ohio

This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room skills to provide critical perioperative care in a dynamic surgical setting. The role requires proficiency in circulation and scrub functions within the operating room, with a focus on thoracic and orthopedic cases. Additional expertise in general surgery, neurology, and vascular procedures is highly valued, allowing for a versatile and comprehensive approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties to support surgical teams effectively.
• Manage perioperative patient care with attention to safety and best practices.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adapt to a variety of surgical cases including thoracic, orthopedic, general, neuro, and vascular surgeries as needed.

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Current and valid RN license.
• Proven experience as an Operating Room Nurse with strong skills in circulator and scrub roles.
• Expertise in thoracic and orthopedic procedures is essential.
• Ability to handle general, neuro, and vascular surgeries is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and think critically in high-pressure situations.

Schedule/Hours

• 40 hours per week.
• Four 10-hour shifts.
• No block schedules.
