Registered Nurse IR - Lorain, Ohio

Provide specialized nursing care in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department within a dynamic hospital environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple IR modalities, including body IR, neuro IR, CT, and ultrasound-guided procedures, supporting patient care in both procedural and pre/postoperative settings.

Location: Lorain, OH

Role Highlights

• Participate in nursing care within two body IR rooms, two neuro IR rooms, one CT interventional room, and one ultrasound interventional room.
• Work in a 12-bed pre/postoperative area with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring attentive and effective patient monitoring.
• Float between pre/postoperative care and procedure rooms throughout a standard 40-hour workweek.
• Fulfill an on-call schedule requiring availability for two weekends (SaturdaySunday) and one weeknight per month.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or related procedural nursing preferred.
• Ability to manage patient care in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Flexibility to float across different IR modalities and adapt to varying patient care needs.
• Willingness to fulfill on-call responsibilities as outlined.
