RN Med Surg | Massillon, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care during the night shift. This contract position involves working three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), focusing on delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing before travel
• Current permanent Ohio RN license or a valid compact state license
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Proven ability to work independently in a demanding clinical setting
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients during the night shift
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly using electronic medical records system

Additional Details

• Night shift schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Hours are submitted through the Lotus system
