RN Med Surg | Medina, Ohio

A registered nurse with specialized Med/Surg Telemetry experience is sought for a contract assignment in Medina, OH. This role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts at a major healthcare facility, providing critical patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license
• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to assignment
• Recent 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience, including travel nursing experience acceptable
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Red Cross preferred)
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Rotating Day/Night schedule: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Shift flexibility as needed to meet operational requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms with proficiency
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using designated electronic systems
• Participate in ongoing education and competency validation
