RN Med Surg | Wapakoneta, Ohio

A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a supportive healthcare environment. This role involves applying clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients using age-specific criteria, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice. The RN will also collaborate with and guide non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries, to promote efficient and effective patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and monitor nursing interventions based on clinical judgment and scientific knowledge.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and adjust plans accordingly.
• Supervise and mentor non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Adhere to established healthcare policies, procedures, and standards.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
