Stepdown Registered Nurse - Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Stepdown (PCU) experience to provide quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract role focuses on day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with opportunities to float to Critical Care Unit (CCU) and Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU).

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing
• Valid Ohio nursing license or nursing license from a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Proficient in ECG rhythm recognition
• Successful completion of safeMedicate and ECG assessments (to be completed during orientation)

Responsibilities / Duties

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Float to CCU and CSICU as needed, adapting to various critical care environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
• Participate in mandatory training and pass required assessments during orientation

Schedule / Hours

• Day Shift
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 am to 7:30 pm)
• Every other holiday rotation
