Stepdown Registered Nurse | Elyria, Ohio

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in cardiac stepdown or progressive care nursing prior to travel
• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state nursing license
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with American Red Cross credentials preferred
• Strong competence in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration
• Ability to work at least every other holiday to maintain consistent patient coverage
• Experience using electronic timekeeping systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm identification and respond appropriately to changes
• Participate in orientation assessments and competency evaluations as required

Schedule and Hours

• 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Schedule flexibility may be required to meet operational needs, with efforts made to honor preferences
