A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse specializing in intermediate-level adult patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. This role centers on delivering attentive nursing care to patients who require close monitoring following medical or surgical procedures, providing a crucial link between outpatient and inpatient care environments.

Located in Hamilton, OH, the PCU serves predominantly short-stay patients expected to be discharged within 24 hours, including those admitted for chest pain or recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and minor surgeries. The unit emphasizes quick recovery, patient safety, and comprehensive discharge planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and provide advanced cardiac support for patients.
• Manage chest pain patients with expedited diagnostic testing and timely follow-up.
• Deliver post-procedural care to moderate- and lower-acuity patients.
• Provide patient-centered care with a focus on rapid recovery and mobilization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including procedural departments and care management, to coordinate patient care.
