Stepdown Registered Nurse | Hamilton, Ohio

Exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown unit experience in a dynamic healthcare setting in Hamilton, OH. Key Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of Stepdown (SD) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience; ICU experience alone does not qualify
• Proven ability to maintain patient ratios between 1:5 and 1:6 effectively
• EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency
• Current BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Competent in EKG telemetry assessment and interpreting cardiac strips
• Skilled in IV starts and management of multiple drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, etc.
• Ability to wear and be fitted for N95 respirators as needed
• Night shift availability with a schedule of 4 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Flexibility to float across campuses if necessary, including occasional work on weekends and holidays
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care in an advanced care unit setting, responding proficiently to complex cardiac and respiratory conditions, and supporting interdisciplinary teams with patient needs.
