Stepdown Registered Nurse | Mason, Ohio

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on comprehensive nursing knowledge.
• Provide care to patients diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, and low-risk chest pain.
• Utilize cardiac monitoring technologies and manage infusion therapy, transfusions, injections, and central line care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient and family partnership in care delivery.
• Maintain certification and skills related to stroke care, including NIH stroke scale assessment.
• Support patient activities of daily living with the assistance of patient care aides.

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
• Experience in medical-surgical and stepdown nursing, particularly cardiac care.
• Knowledge of non-invasive positive pressure ventilation techniques (Bi-PAP, C-PAP, A-PAP).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Commitment to ethical nursing practice aligned with the ANA code of ethics and state nursing laws.
