An opportunity is available for an experienced nurse specializing in operating room technology to provide high-quality perioperative care. This contract position involves working with a dedicated surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical procedures.

Schedule & Hours

• Monday to Friday, 4 days of 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One late shift per week extending to 7:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities: one weekday evening call shift per week (5:50 PM7:00 AM) and one weekend 24-hour call shift every five weeks (7:00 AM Saturday or Sunday to 7:00 AM next day)
• Call response time is within 30 minutes

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment
• Handle instrumentation, supplies, and equipment necessary for assigned procedures
• Monitor patient condition and ensure adherence to sterile techniques
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Fulfill on-call duties with timely response and readiness

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in operating room technology or perioperative nursing
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instruments
• Ability to respond promptly during on-call periods
