Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Contribute to achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
Maintain a high level of visibility in work activities and results.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to improve skills.

Experience/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
Ability to achieve departmental targets and quality metrics.
Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings.
Ability to educate patients and families on health management.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a healthcare team.
Strong assessment skills for monitoring patient vital signs.
Understanding of safety and infection control protocols.
Willingness to engage in performance evaluations for skill improvement.
Proficiency in using healthcare technology and documentation tools.
