Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) / Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Stepdown Unit at a major healthcare facility. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a stepdown setting.
• Monitor and interpret arrhythmias and other cardiac issues.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST HAVE 18 months of permanent experience in cardiac stepdown nursing prior to travel.
• Recent travel experience in a cardiac stepdown unit is acceptable.
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand is required.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIH certification is required.
