RN Med Surg | Heath, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with strong skills in medical-surgical nursing to support patient care within a well-established healthcare setting. The position involves primarily working on a comprehensive medical unit with occasional assignments across specialized Med-Surg pods such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department boarders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and other Med-Surg units as needed.
• Monitor and manage patient telemetry with precision, ensuring timely interventions.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records proficiently in daily documentation and communication.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Work the night shift schedule, including every other weekend, with no on-call duties.

Desired Qualifications

• Current, active RN license with a minimum of three years’ recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing.
• Proficiency in reading telemetry data, with demonstrated competency required from day one.
• Expertise using Epic EMR is mandatory—refresher training will not be available.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to adapt to variable unit assignments covering diverse patient populations.
