Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Painesville, Ohio

This contract opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses with recent, solid experience in Med/Surg Telemetry who hold a valid Ohio permanent license or compact state license. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit during day shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
• Perform and monitor ECG rhythms accurately as part of patient assessments.
• Administer medications safely following the completion of safeMedicate training.
• Comply with hospital protocols, including PBDS assessments and Qualivis - Lotus hour submission.
• Work a schedule that includes at least every other holiday, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Current Ohio permanent nursing license or compact nursing license.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused care approach.

Schedule

• Day shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
• Choose between 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules to fit your lifestyle.
