An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room experience to provide critical care in a rural community hospital setting. This contract role offers a challenging and rewarding environment where clinical skills are valued and patient-centered care is a priority.

Location

Situated in Mansfield, Ohio, this hospital is a 99-bed, Joint Commission-accredited community facility honored with a National Quality Approval Award. Mansfield offers a variety of outdoor activities such as water parks, golf, hiking trails, and the unique Ariel-Foundation Park featuring sculptures and art installations ideal for downtime and relaxation.

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Four 12-hour shifts per week
Availability to work holidays is required
48-hour contracts with overtime starting after 48 hours worked weekly

Qualifications & Desired Experience

Current RN licensure with Emergency Room experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in ER setting is desirable
BLS and ACLS certification required
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Paragon or Allscripts
Willingness to float to similar acuity units within the facility (no low-acuity floating)

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care adhering to best practices
Assess and triage patients promptly and accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain smooth operation of the ER
Follow hospital protocols with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes
