RN Emergency Room | Dayton, Ohio

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise to take on a contract role in Dayton, OH. This role requires a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering high-quality emergency care during night shifts in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in an Emergency Department
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm
• BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday shifts

Schedule/Hours

• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities / Duties

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care consistent with established standards
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes
• Flexibly float to various units including high-risk respiratory and COVID care as assigned
• Uphold hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and quality of care
• Support the nursing team in specialty clusters and multiple campus locations as required
