ER Registered Nurse Job Details Job Title: Locum Tenens Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Dover, Ohio 44622 (Tuscarawas County) Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ER) Employment Type: Travel/Contract Nursing Job Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026) Hours per Week: 36 Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 10:00am–10:30pm, Mid: 12:00pm–12:30am, Night: 7:00pm–7:30am) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1470–$1570 Emergency Room RN Qualifications At least 18 months of recent, permanent Emergency Department RN experience Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license (required at submission) Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all required and active at submission) TNCC certification preferred Two supervisory references in emergency nursing specialty (one from past 12 months, one from most recent assignment if applicable) Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered) ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Assess, triage, and manage acute and urgent medical conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions Work rotating shifts, including every other holiday as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices in emergency nursing Discover the benefits of working in Dover, OH—a community offering small-town charm, outdoor recreation, and a supportive healthcare environment.
